“BREAK OUT. BE LOUD. BE DIFFERENT.” isn’t solely another pop-up for Black, queer artists to show their faces and their stories, but to reinforce their existences as something serious. Something that can feel emotion, garner trust, and break promises with. Something that takes up space and is capable of doing just about anything. Something that will be loud and continue to be loud under an administration that wants to erase, delete, deny, shame, and belittle.
